“Great Concierge”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 29 January 2012

They had very nice rooms , at this hotel and it was very close to alot of stores, we were in town for a concert and had called a taxi, the front desk was being very helpful but we had been waitin awhile. they had callled back 4 times and it was almost time for us to be their so the front door man Albert was not at all happy and gave us a ride in the hotel car, this hotel has very very nice staff and we would definately stay again

Room Tip: book on hotwire

“Good location and friendly staff”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

Likes: Situated in the "less touristy" end/side of downtown, near the Granville Bridge, but just a short bus or complimentary courtesy shuttle ride to the more touristy northern end (it only about 20-25 minutes brisk walk from one end to the other). Close to a sky-train stop (best way to get from airport to hotel). This "False Creek" end of town was more in touch with the local "Vancouvorites". Handy to inexpensive restaurants and "take-outs".
Very friendly staff - could not do enough for us. We had a room on the main arterial route side the first night and one of the windows would not latch properly (faulty latch). As the latch could not be repaired immediately the Hotel management relocated us to a room which was just as nice but on the quieter side of the building. Great jacuzi on roof. The glass of complimentary wine at 5pm was a nice touch.
General: Rooms a little on the small side.
Dislikes: Nil - if something needed adjustment (i.e. more fresh towels needed in the jacuzi), then the staff would resolve ASAP.

Dear Tezza,

I appreciate posting your comments on Trip Advisor. I am glad you enjoyed your stay at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park.

I apologize for the inconvenience related to your relocation to another room, but happy to hear that all worked well at the end. I am quite sure that our currently conducted annual maintenance project will address all hotel rooms’ deficiency issues.

Yes, many of our guests enjoy our outdoor Jacuzzi on the 9th floor and fitness centre with amazing view on English Bay. We do inspect the Jacuzzi room every few hours to make sure there is sufficient supply on fresh towels. “We liked the location”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

We found it easy to get here from the train in from the airport. We had a three night stay and found the staff very helpful - the shuttle service into town was great and the location close to bus stops made it really easy to get around. On our first night we had a room facing the freeway and because the window didn't lock shut properly it was a little noisy - but as soon as we notified the office we were offered another room straight away and it was no problem. The rooms aren't huge but they are comfortable. We enjoyed the wine reception on one of our days there - nice to come back to the hotel after a busy day and have a glass of wine. So many great Japanese restaurants and other places to eat nearby and we took our sushi takeaway down to the park at False Creek and felt like locals.

Room Tip: Ask for a quiet room - the ones facing the freeway have a good view but could be a little noisy.

“Love the apartment suite”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 25 January 2012

My female friend and I stayed for 3 days. Love every bit of it. First time to Van, eventhough I'm from Texas. We where close to all the stores and close to the bay, by walking distance. We walk everywhere. I planned on going again and bring friends too. Next time I have to get the 2 bdrm suite. That's a must!!!!!

Dear Oscar,

Thank you for posting your comments with your positive experience while staying in one of our apartments. Choosing apartment vs. regular hotel room provides extra perks, i.e. fully equipped kitchen, laundry set and of course, more space. Beside 98 hotel rooms, we have 26 luxury apartments ranging from one bedroom one bathroom, two bedroom 1.5 or 2 bathrooms, and ending with 2 bedroom semi-penthouse with open floor plan in the living room area that offers spectacular 180-degree view from its 18th floor.

Sir, next time you are in Vancouver, our Team at the Executive Hotel Vintage Park will be glad to warmly welcome you again.

Best regards

“Wonderful Location”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 24 January 2012

Stayed here for 3 nights recently and had a wonderful time. The location is perfect! Right in the middle of downtown Vancouver. Easy, quick walk to the train stations. Room was adequate. They are a bit on the small side, but very comfortable and incredibly clean. Staff was very friendly and even greeted us every time we walked in the door. Overall a very nice hotel.
