One night before the cruise was all we needed. Staff gave us room #229 . Room newly renovation. Although, It's an old hotel but you get what you pay for. Comfortable beds and tidy room. Close to Downtown, walking distance for restaurant ,Delightful staff . We would definitely stay here again. Great Budget Hotel!!

THEY HAVE THE BEST FRONT DESK STAFF AND ALSO THE WORST TOO.

JAMES and the other desk which is Caucasian are the worst front desk staff i never see in my life.They're so Rude, unhelpful and no customer service skill at all. They should get fire right away.I just don't know why the management keep people like this! They'll just make your business has no reputation, losing revenue and no repeat customer.

On the other way, The morning desk clerk, Calvin, was very helpful and super friendly.His customer service skill and job attitude is unbelievable . If you want to stay in this hotel, i suggest you check in and out only on the morning times.

We just returned home to North Carolina after visiting Vancouver to take an Alaskan Inland Waterway Cruise. I checked on line to find accomodations and fortunately found the City Centre Motor Hotel. It is probably one of the older hotels in the city but was a great location. The day desk clerk, Calvin, was very helpful in reccomending methods and locations to enjoy our stay. The accomodations are clean, well kept, the coffee is good, and the staff was great. The location was perfect as it is located on the bus line for easy access to the city. The neighborhood offerred good restaurants, bars, shopping and intersting shops. We will definately stay there again on any future trips. Thanks for your hospitality. Sterling & Eleanor Page

I've stayed at this hotel twice now and you cannot beat the price and location of this hotel. Staff are friendly, beds are new-ish and comfortable. You may not get all the amenities of a fancier hotel (shampoo, coffee maker) but for the price you cannot beat this hotel. They will give you a kettle and there's a coffee shop and great vegetarian restaurant next door. I totally recommend.
