Checked in after a long day travelling from Europe with a connection in Seattle, and was allocated a room on the 4th floor overlooking West Pender Street, the room was very good, consisting of 2 twin beds, plenty of seating/storage and a reasonably sized bathroom. The room also had air conditioning, the only issue I had with the room was the iron, which was not clean, and took several days to receive a new one, but apart from the the room was in excellent quality.
The breakfast was also excellent, with cereals, bagels, muffins etc and hot items, which were usually sausages, eggs and pancakes. Breakfast is served in a small room in the basement, and can have busy periods, but the staff do let you go into other rooms if the main breakfast room is full.
The elevator can be busy at times as the hotel only had the 1. But the steps were fine, but I wouldn't want to tackle them with heavy luggage. Nearby the hotel are plenty of reasonable places to eat and it is not far from the main shopping areas.
Overall a fantastic hotel in Vancouver, close to major attractions and well worth the money, the front of house staff were incredibly helpful. I would stay at this hotel again without hesitation.
