Came down for 10 days to volunteer for the Olympic Soccer qualifying, so price was the major factor. For the money it was excellent. It was just me, so the smallish room was fine, well kept, large bathroom, new flat screen tv, in room wifi which worked if a bit slow.
The Restaurant/Pub is excellent too (Wings). Granville is a transit corridor and buses stop right outside the hotel, while being 4blocks from Yaletown station on the Canada line.
(from the airport). It is an old building, but has had upgrades, and staff were very helpful.
I was here when it got down to minus 7C, and snowed, but The room was warm and the bed very comfortable. Above all, good location.

We booked a nice room for our anniversary weekend, and would certainly come again. The jaccuzzi was a nice feature... Very helpful and friendly staff, a nice place to stay, close to everything.
Great location withing the downtown, too.
We're already thinking Valentine's Day... ;-)

We had sooo much!!! Stayed during the Grey Cup, paid a bit more, of course, reserved a faboulous suite with jaccuzzi tub and 2 bedroom suite. Staff was really nice, very accomodating, helped us with anything we needed. \check in and check out was fast and efficient. Evening staff and day time staff very very nice. We will definetely return!

This was a great place to stay in Vancouver. Our stay was short and we arrived at 5.30am and had booked for the night before. We were made most welcome with our room being checked before we booked in to make sure it was ok. This hotel was walking distance to most attractions including Gastown and Granville Island. A must on Granville Island is the shop that sells stone carvings from Zimbabwe. In the doorway is Harry the Hippo, who you cant help but rub his tummy. The carvings are absolutely magnificent especially when you talk to the proprietor and find out a little about the carvers history.
