I know Vancouver well and like Kerrisdale, the boulevards with gardens are pretty. I didnt meet Barb or Bob and it was very quiet when I arrived..Just pressed my number on keypad and entered. Had a little trouble with the Asian separate toed socks as I had a hip replacement not long ago but managed as the seating is good in hallway. Very nice Buddhist decor...my room was lovely, black/red and very clean..a long shelf I liked for my stuff by the bed. Note told me to call Barb as they were out. So I did..didnt need anything but afterwards couldnt figure out how to op the TV but had a good book. Had a bottle of wine which I sipped in the nice twisted stemmed glass which I tried to buy the next day but couldnt find any..the traffic was right outside but didnt bother me at all..very quiet through the night and I enjoyed the deep bathtub..bed was fabulous..firm but pillowtop soft..amazing as I have a bad back ..at 8am I was up and went upstairs for breakfast, a lovely breakfast, fresh yogurt and fresh berries, kiwi, then little cinammonbuns with tofu sausage as Im vegetarian. Have to tell them beforehand. The server Jensen, doing her practicum in hotel industry was sweet. Loved the frenchtoast..didnt want cereal..you can ask if you dont want something..Barb is gracious and lovely..would go again. didnt see Bob. I liked the shrubbery outside my room..private.
