The hotel was previously a Quality Inn, so be prepared that this is NOT a typical Ramada. Its an older building and needs much more attention (new paint, floors, curtains, etc...) and needs to be updated.
The Hotel is not close to Metrotown at all; we have no idea why they call it Metrotown. The "Jaguars" restaurant in the hotel was run with one person being the cook, hostess and server and the food was not great; We felt very sorry for the woman having to do all that work alone. Our bed was extremely noisy, creaky and hard. The bathroom in our room was not very clean; the shower had mold and mildew, the floor tiles had rust stains on them, the shower head was very hard and the sink plug did not work. Their fitness centre weight machine was not working at all, nor was the eliptical or treadmill.
The Staff in general were very helpful and friendly, especially housekeeping.

Dear Kim T,
We apologize that your experience here was less than satisfying. We are quite concerned when we read your comments about your stay. Our fitness equipment is brand new and we were shocked that you found things in non working order. We purchased over 150 new mattresses and box springs 3 months ago and purchased new bedding and duvets 2 months ago and we've heard nothing but good things about these upgrades. Our property is not in Metrotown mall but we are located within 1.5 miles from Metrotown Mall. We provide a free shuttle service to the mall 3 times a day. We take pride in being a Ramada property and make sure all of our brand standards are met or exceeded. We are not the newest Ramada property but we have spent huge amounts of money to constantly update our rooms and property on a regular basis to keep maintain our high standards of customer satisfaction.
