Spent 2 nites at the Metropolitan in Vancouver, great location next to Pacific Centre, close to subway and bus lines, as well as within walking distance of many interesting places in downtown Vancouver. Price was reasonable, rooms are pretty huge with 2 beds and nice big bathroom. A little noisy due to the location downtown, but that is a small price to pay for the location. There is a small gym with a pool, great for a simple workout. Staff was friendly too.

Just spent three nights at this Hotel. It is perfectly located near the busy Granville Street with restuarants, clubs and shops with walking distance. Buses that connect you to Granville Island and walking distance to Stanley park, gastown etc.

Rooms were clean, neat and very quiet. Staff were exceptional. Nothing a problem, attentive, funny and actually looked like they enjoyed engaging the customer. Weather was ordinary but still enjoyed the place. Canada is a great country.

The Metropolitan is nicely situated right in the center of Vancouver. Service is good, price a bit high but not too bad. Overall, a very pleasant experience
Very friendly people and big, beautiful room. The view was not the greatest, but that could just be where our room was located, but not a deal breaker

Spent two nights at the Metropolitan where I was also attending a seminar. The room was thoughtfully designed, well equipped [iPhone/iPod docking alarm clock!] and beautifully appointed. The bed was supremely comfortable and the bathroom large with both a corner shower and a full tub. Hotel staff were *always* very courteous and helpful.

The food and service during the seminar were also provided by the hotel, and were excellent. They were very accommodating for one of the members of the seminar who had a gluten-free diet restriction.

One of the servers heard our instructor coughing while presenting, and came back with a specially made cup of tea with honey for them, in a big mug with a note that said "Hope this helps!". The presenter was very impressed, as were the rest of the attendees.

I travel to Vancouver once a month, and this will now be my destination of choice.
