Just checked out. Not only were the staff rude to me, they were rude to a very nice guest and a person who called in. The rooms are extremely dusty. Looking for my hotel key card under the nightstand, I saw so much filth I couldn't believe it. Obviously no attachments on their vacuums. The cups were dirty, the bathtub was obviously not cleaned and there was no housekeeping on Christmas morning. A simple, courteous "heads up" would have been nice, rather than the rude "it's Christmas, of course there's no housekeeping" response from the staff.

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. We had an issue when checking in with the discovery of a bed bug and were immediately moved to another room and they were on the problem. Carpets and furniture were not clean and the bedding and towels, although clean were tired. The place could use a "do over."

This is a very average budget hotel. The beds are the softest and lumpiest I've ever slept in; though I couldn't get a decent night's sleep. The windows let in so much noise it sounded as if they were open. Otherwise the place is ok and pretty clean; could do with a paint job though. Staff is helpful; I was even able to check in early. Free wifi; but very slow. Great location.

First of all, I can't stress enough that the desk staff was amazing. I was in Vancouver for a conference and there were so issues with payment from my home institution. The desk staff (LeAnn?) was incredibly nice and patient. The rooms were very nice, quiet, and clean. The location isn't terrific but only because it's a bit far to many Vancouver attractions. Overall, a quality hotel for a good price, particularly in Vancouver. Would have given 5 stars but gave 4 because of location.
