Not only was the room exquisite, the textures, colours and lighting beautiful, but it was so logically appointed! The bed is beautiful and comfortable. The bathtub was a dream, as was the shower(Of course, they have radiant heated floors.)! The toilet is separate, which, with the sliding glass doors closed, is blessedly very private. The recent move to all glass open concept bathrooms in many hotels, boutique and otherwise, often overlooks this most basic necessity.
The staff went above and beyond the call of duty. The door man walked me to the sky train station, trolleyed my bag for me the whole way and refused a tip! The gals at the help desk made a hair appointment for me.
We had an absolutely magnificent meal at the restaurant, and I enjoyed a gorgeous bowl of chicken broth soup at the little cafe, it had some fresh lemon and green beans (that were not overlooked) added just at the end. Delicious!
I would travel half as often, so that I may afford the Georgia. It is totally worth it.
