We stayed at the Sea Star Beach Retreat in Sept. It was perfect. It was clean and had a kitchen, living room, jacuzzi tub with a shower and a off to the side bedroom and yes a fireplace. The owners welcomed us and then we rarely saw them which was great (gave us our own space). We used the hot tub in the back a couple of times, nice and hot. The price was amazing as we checked every place in town and this was the best deal for the location. If we could have, we would have been there longer...but we will be back! A must stay at!

We arrived at night, which could have been tricky, but the driving directions on the website were perfect! After a warm reception we were shown our unit (The Main Suite) 2 bedrooms and 2 bath with a large living area with a fireplace and full kitchen. This was ideal for our family of 4. Our 2 grown daughters enjoyed the hot tub and sun deck, as it was chilly at the beach. Chesterman Beach is just a 2 minute walk down the road and through a trail. This was my first time to Tofino and as it turned out this location was everything I hoped for. Long walks on a beautiful beach with shopping, dining, and surfboard rentals a 5 minute drive away.

We loved our stay at the Sea Star Beach Retreat. The studio we rented was very nice and had everything we needed, and even contained a jacuzzi! The studio was within under 5 minutes walking from the beach where you can see very nice beautiful sunsets. The town of Tofino is just a small 10 minutes by car. We regretted we booked for only two nights, because you can do various nice thins near Tofino.

This is a small place, with 2 studios and one suite. Owners live in same building.
We stayed in the Garden suite, a large space with bedroom, kitchen, couch in front of fireplace, 2 person jetted tub, large windows opening on private outside patio (gas BBQ provided) and rain forest. Very confortable, laid back, restful.
Beach just 5 minutes walk away.
Kitchen is so well equipped it even had the instruments to eat crab -
This is no B&B: owners leave you to do what you want - this is what we prefer.
