Do not stay here. My room had no soap and no glass in the bathroom window. If the door didn't work i was told to just open the window and reach inside to unlock the door. 70's horror flick in deed! A total dump. Happiness was this crap trap in my review mirror. Never ever stay here.

Arriving in Tofino much later than expected, the lodging choices where somewhat limited. If this happens to you, don't even consider the Pacific Breeze Motel and sleep in your car instead! Yes, we were looking for a reasonably prices motel but one still expects a minimum of comfort. The bathroom offered a rusty tub decorated with mold growing happily in each corner and a couple creatures marching over the floor. The room itself is very plain. The one bed I tested sagged so much that it instantly pulled me to the centre. After we fled the scene it came to my mind that there was no "BC Approved Accommodation" sign posted and now we knew why.

We are from up island and thought, tofino for a night might be fun. You know those spur of the moment kind of trips?. Well this motel was and will be the worst place on earth for probably the next 40 years!!! No hot water, nothing was clean, and it reaked of --- I cant tell you what the smell was like, but it was terrible!! I would rather sleep on the street. My poor children have been tramatized and im sure will have nightmares for the rest of their lives!!!

It seems everyone turns up here as a last resort, as my girlfriend and I did when we spontaneously decided to stay overnight in Tofino.
They were the only place with a room vacant, and at $60 for us both, it was within budget.
The whole place seemed entrenched in the 70s, , the decor didn't seem to have been updated since then, but the owner was gregariously pleasant, the rooms were spacious, and although definitely not pristine, certainly clean enough! (No bed bugs, or previous occupants litter! I think some of these reviewers have never had to travel on a budget! I've had to stay in much, much worse)!
The best part was when we got up in the morning, and were greeted by the view from the untidy, but massive verandah!
It really is in a lovely location!
Overall the place has the air of pleasant times past, which with the renovations being carried out, could be the case again!
Cheap and cheerful!
Don't expect much, and you won't be disappointed!
