I stayed here with my family in mid-December, and was pleasantly surprised by the cleanliness, service, and value provided by this motel.

There were some minor annoyances (there were four of us, but only one little bar of soap between the sink and shower) but overall I would stay here again. It makes a good base for exploring the beaches and other attractions in the Pacific Rim National Park.

I would definitely prefer staying at an oceanfront property on the wild side, but that comes at a considerable premium over this location, and for this trip we were more interested in exploring than storm watching.

Not a luxury place by any means, but good basic accommodation, clean motel-like rooms. Nice balconies to enjoy the amazing view Tofino has to offer of the ocean and mountains. Some of the rooms haven't much of a view, lower level rooms, so specify a view room if you are reserving. Easy to find, right at the south end of Tofino, a few blocks walk to down town. Pub and restaurant used by the locals fight on the water's edge. Food basic and delicious. Portions big enough to share between two ladies. The restaurant was not visible from the road, so the owners offered restaurant specials nightly.
If mobility is an issue, be sure and let them know if you need a room with easy access as there are many stairs to some of the rooms. No beach to walk on here at this place but easy walk or drive to many beautiful beaches. Bike rentals in this town are a great way to explore.

Bed linens had grease spots on them, furniture and room need updatiing. Price was cheap for the off season but I would feel ripped off if I had to pay any more than $100 a night. When the pub closed it was very noisey with people shouting and throwing stuff around the parking lot. I think someones car window was even broken. Soon after, the police arrived.

The next morning at breakfast in the hotel resaurant the bathrooms were flooded and water was pouring through the ceiling. I no it rains a lot in Tofino but it was unbelivable!

Don't stay here, there are much better options in Tofino.

The room was clean, great location close to town and on the water. Got a good rate (shoulder season) for a pretty big room (one queen bed and two single beds for about $80).
Great selection of teas and hot choc complimentary as is wireless internet. Would definitely stay there again.
