Tall Trees Bed and Breakfast is located in an area surrounded by forest, creek and walking trails. It is pet friendly, which is a huge plus for me. Andrea, its owner is very friendly and helpful. She will most likely have a chocolate bar or two waiting for you when you check into your room and a lovely breakfast prepared for you in the morning. Information provided in the room will answer any questions you might have concerning sight seeing or places to eat. I felt very "at home" during my stay at Tall Trees Bed and Breakfast.

When we arrived no one was home and the doors unlocked...security?? The entrance could use some welcoming touches, the front stairs/entrance was frankly grubby and there was misc junk sitting in the car port...no curb appeal at all!! However Anrea did leave a note welcoming us.

Andrea is a nice and friendly hostess, however the cleanliness level of the rooms were questioanble.
The living room had what looked like dog hair over the furniture and floors as well as an accumulation of dust. The set up in the living room was awkward and not comfortable. The place had a slight dog smell.
At first glance the bedroom looked great, the sheets, though very wrinkled were clean & the bed comfy, but again really dusty. When I pulled out the chest so I could get the lamp closer for reading I was astounded at the layers of thick dust on the sides of the furniture and floor. I cleaned it before sleeping in the bed. The bathroom was clean, but the floor & bath mats had not been laundered in a while.
Breakfast was good but not outstanding. My friend who had her own room felt the same about the cleanliness level. With some elbow grease and mindfulness this could be a great B&B as we all felt that Andrea is a charming person.

We stayed 2 nights here and Andrea is very accommodating to being up when you arrive / leave at silly times off trains / ferries etc. My only issues were that our room wasnt serviced (which I kind of expected for $115 a night), we weren't given our change until asked (only a couple of dollars but we're counting every penny at minute!), and the dog she was looking after barked for half an hour at midnight when we had to be up at half 4.

Other than that Andrea is very happy for you to have run of house and use kitchen as you please, there are dvds to watch when pouring down with rain and also very helpful in organising taxi/suggesting walks etc.

We stayed in Tall Trees B&B for 1 night in June. The room was ok, with a big bathroom (shower & tube). Andrea, the hostess, was friendly, but we felt to come rather in a flat-sharing community than a B&B. As we took the ferry very early in morning, we couldn't have breakfast, but we were given some enery barrs and we were also offered to take some drinks out of the fridge. The fridge....I wished I had not opened it, as it was dirty like hell (perhaps already alive?).
In summary, the room was ok for 1 night (but not worth the amount of money). We would not come back again.
