They threw away my sons Lego mini figure that was $35!!!!

We stayed in a room with a king-size bed. The room was very clean and new, and the bed was comfortable. The TV was a tad small (32"), and distantly placed from the bed, which made it seem smaller still (the room was huge). Ok for TV watching, but we watched a movie and it was like watching it on a laptop. Odd that they wouldn't take advantage of the ample space and have a pull-out couch as well as the king-size bed, rather than the single plush chair, and the plentiful storage options (useful if you were staying multiple nights, I suppose). There was also a desk with a swivel chair. The bathroom was well-equippedd with modern fixtures and a clean design, and a long, deep soaker tub. There is a large pool and a hot tub by the lobby. No change-room, though. There is also a small cafe where you can get the basics. We didn't bother, though. There is room service, breakfast and dinner options. Internet access in the lobby at a PC in the corner. A nice place to stay, but at $170 I'll be saving it for future special occasions (an anniversary, in this case).

Stayed for 1 night only on our fly drive holiday and purely as a convenient stopover hotel from the daily driving,

The rooms are vey nice and the hotel is very clean and modern but it is a few miles outside the city centre - we drove into the centre on a Sunday afternoon and it is absolutely 110% dead on a Sunday - nothing was open. Everything was closed - shops, bars, restaurants, etc.

Stop only for the quality of the hotel and certainly not for the surroundings or local facilities.

New, clean hotel a little on the outside of town, near the highway. Rooms were large and welcoming. For several days of my stay, I repeatedly saw several staff members outside smoking right at the front entrance. Not only did this create a negative impression, it was also unprofessional. The parking lot was also very full due to the staff parking.
I attempted to use the shuttle sertvice to the airport, but it never showed up, luckily, the front desk was quick to call me a cab. Overall, my stay was okay, aside from the smoking and parking issues.
