We stopped in Prince George on the way from Prince Rupert to Jasper. Not a very pleasant area, but hotel very clean and comfortable. We booked on-line and the price for four was unbeatable! The staff very helpful and nice. In the room we found an inviting letter from the hotel manageress which was really great.

Not a great place for anyone travelling with a car, there were a lot of shady characters around the parking lot. The service was horrible! Complained about smelling pot in the hallways, front desk didn't care, with a shrug of the shoulders was dismissed. They don't seem to believe in the adage "the customer is always right"......I definitely wouldn't be staying here again!

Okay, The rooms were very pretty and clean. Service was good and the people were very friendly and willing to help. Bathroom pretty clean not much dirt and grime.

Downsides: A lot of shady people around the area, especially the casino right across.

This hotel was basically pretty average. It is in an older section of town and we did notice some homeless people kind of hanging around. Felt that leaving anything in the car overnight was not a good idea. Staff recommended a nearby greek restaurant to eat which was good. The hotel restaurant has an Indian emphasis (curry, etc) which did not really appeal to us.

Would probably research other hotel options if we were staying in the area again.
