stayed here 21st aug 2011 and there was a summer festival outside which was great loads of stalls kids dancing people on kareoke then there was a group on a stage at the other end of the street The hotel staff were really welcoming and helpfull they gave us our keys and we made our way up in the lift to the rooms which were really nice and clean bedding and curtains all matched ect. Earlier on we had all been saying that we fancied Indian for supper so we went and asked where the best indian was in the town and he said right behind you its part of our hotel we couldnt believe it so it was fate we decided to give it a try we went and changed and all met downstairs for dinner
The sign for me of a good indian is when you can smell all the spices befor you eat and there was none of the normal spicy smells which i thorght wasnt a good sign but boy was i wrong...the food was superb i ordered chiken tikka massala & rice with nann bread we all had popadoms to start and chutneys...i was stuffed....My hubby ordered Chicken Tandoori and it came on a sizzleing plate and a friend ordered lamb tkka and there must have been a full joint of lamb on her platter it was all really nice
The Room cost $101 which on my visa statement was 64 pounds and 24 pence (sorry pound sign not working on keyboard) lol Very good value for money dinner cost 4 of us with starters mains and 2 sweets including drinks $100 that was with tips aswell
When we checked in they gave us a voucher each for $5 to spend in the casino in prince george so we searched that out and lost a further $20 lol

I booked this hotel as one of the stops on my long trip back to the lower 48 states from Alaska.
I arrived to Prince George very very late, past midnight, and after nearly 15 hours on one of the toughest stretches of the Alaska highway. The mountain road had been completely washed out and there were hours of delays.
I was frankly not expecting much, I was also worried because I was driving a 36' vehicle and this hotel was downtown Prince George, so parking was a worry as well as simply arriving.
Days Inn is a chain I'm familiar with, I've stayed at several over the years, but I was totally surprised by this one. It was a full blown hotel. Nice large lobby, very well kept up and was a completely pleasant surprise.
I arrived very late but the lady at the front desk made me feel so welcome. I asked her about my large truck and she said no problem, just park it in the large lot and here's a tag so you don't have to move it. Security? I was very happy. They had a very friendly, very "on the job" night security watchman and he absolutely made the rounds. I came out about 2;30am to get something from my vehicle and he was outside keeping an eye on things.
Excellent service, nice clean comfortable room, elevator, this was quite a nice facility, and actually very cost effective. I paid more for a lot less on that trip.
I would totally recommend this hotel to anyone heading up through BC. It was a great value and a complete pleasure to stay there.

I was after another long day. traffic, roads and sight seening. called late to make a booking, lovely girl took the call and looked after my booking with out hassle, arrived at hotel at 12 at night, was met by lovely friendly young fella that booked us in and let me stay near the hotel in a restricted area due to car park being full with out my worry of car being broken into outside car park lines! room was clean, comfortable and quiet. slept in so missed free breakfast. had a "farmers choice" down in the lounge resturant in the hotel. food was ok, good money for value.
