We were cycling through the Okanagan Valley this summer and were incredibly fortunate to come across this incredible little spot. The 17% grade hill up to top was well worth it! Doug and Joyce really went out of their way to make us feel welcome. After a long day of cycling, we spent the late afternoon resting in the garden with Sisco the cat. We took-in the incredible view of Naramata Bench, the vinyards and orchards below and Okanagan Lake. Our room was cozy and well appointed. We were a short walk to Hillside Winery where we had a fabulous dinner on the outdoor patio. After a great sleep (the place is incredibly quiet) we had a delicious breakfast of fresh fruit, yogurt, juice, tea and omelet with our guest on their deck. Doug is a local historian and we enjoyed hearing the stories of the region. We could have easily stayed a few more days, but needed to keep moving. We would highly recommend this little gem of a place.
