My son and I were taking this trip for the Thanksgiving holiday. My son booked this hotel primarily based on the reviews from other travelers. It was very close to the skytrain which was our mode of transportatin during our visit so that was really nice as well. Even as close to the train it was, I never heard any noise. It's a very charming hotel and nice big rooms with tall ceilings. The bed was very , very comfortable. The rooms temp was very comfortable as well. Not once did we have to use a/c or heat. The first night we arrived, it was very late - around 11:30 p.m. We were greeted kindly. Had a great first night. Left early the next day and was greeted by the manager who was also extremely nice. Later that evening my son and I went back to the room to relax for a bit before dinner. At that time my son saw a mouse! We went downstairs to report it and the lady at the desk was extemely nice and said she would contact the manager. We arrived back from dinner and was told that the manager offered to move us to a different room. It was very late and we didn't want to change rooms as we didn't want to go and repack everything. So we stayed in the same room thinking the mouse "went away". Well it didn't. I could hear it chewing on "stuff" all night! The next morning we went to check out and spoke with the manager. She again was very polite and professional. After discussing this issue with her briefly, she offered to comp us one night. That was very nice of her to do that. Being that my son prepaid the room through expedia, she said that she would contact them and it would really be up to Expedia to do the refund. The very next day my son received an email from Expedia stating that they were issuing a refund for the one night. Very, very pleased. I would most definitely stay here again, if only because of the outstanding customer service that we received.
