My husband and I had been travelling for a few weeks and really appreciated the home style welcome, the small touches to make our stay relaxing including recommendations for dining and free DVDs to watch in our room with a complimentary glass of wine. We have pets at home so we were pleased to be able to interact with the resident furry family however we also thought it was good that the owners realised that not everyone was comfortable with pets and offered to quarantine them if that would have suited us better. The house has an interesting history and lots of interesting pieces to look at over a delicious home made breakfast. Very reasonably priced.

“canadian friendliniess at its best”
B&B 10 minutes walk from town centre and harbour area, everything in walking distance. Lovinly restored period home, beautifully decorated rooms and sumptious breakfasts. Rooms have private bathrooms, tv and are spacious.
Friendly, up to date host shares the latest Nanaimo info. The B&B has got a lovely first floor balcony with a nice view of the distant mountains hovering over the town.

“comfortable, good value, b and b”
We stayed at this b and b and other small hotels in canada and we would rate it as very good value for the price. The rooms are comfortable and pieces in them collectable items - some inspiring.

“Beautiful heritage home with excellent imaginative breakfast”
A good location, easy walk to good pub / restaurant. The house is a beautiful corner plot Heritage home, wonderfully furnished in keeping with it's heritage status. Excellent facilities with guest sitting room, fridge and copious reading material and tourist information. Best B&B breakfast choice ever - magnificent eggs ! Wish we could have stayed longer.
