The owner of this motel pretended to be a friend of my wife & I, then she spread vicious rumours about us to our friends and families.

This is not a friendly establishment in my experience.

I am surprised to see so many bad reviews, although it's been a couple of years since I've stayed here.

I spent one night in the summer time on my way to Vancouver. It was perfect for me and my dog. The room was definitely not recently renovated but there wasn't anything wrong with it and it was clean. The staff are very informal but that's just the kind of motel it is. The only thing that slightly put me off was when I booked by phone she didn't ask me the size of my dog, I didn't think it would matter but when I checked in she was leary to rent the room to me cuz he's 80lbs. Apparently they only take smaller dogs. But she let me stay and I was happy with it and so was my dog.

It's also close to the highway so you do hear traffic but it was bearable.

I'd stay there again for a one nighter.

After a bad night at Travellers Inn this place seemed like paradise. You exactly what you pay for here. Granted the walls are paper thin and the carpets are like oooolllldddddd. the rest of the room was clean and tidy. Very old place that was made presentable. For the price you pay its worth the stay. Just dont expect the sun and moon. After taxes in peak season it was $84 and i slept well, except when the guy next door decided to chant at 6 am. I'll be returning when im pressed for a room.

My brother-in-law kindly reserved this for my husband and I, thinking that it was inexpensive and close by. If I wasn't so late, I would have tried to find another place to stay. I really like to support local small business owners when I can, but this Motel really needs some T.L.C. If I recall the price was similiar to standard hotel rates, as well. It was, however, reasonably clean. To be fair, I believe they had started renovations but sadly I think ours was one of the completed rooms. I will let the photos speak for themselves.
