I was staying in the hotel until i found myself a place to live after a fire. The lobby was alright, pretty basic, i checked into one room and came alll the way to the end of the bottom floor of the hotel just to find out that the key didnt work. So back i went, and got the response "oh, yeah, i forgot that room doesn't lock!" Really? You should get that fixed.... come on.
So they switched me over like nothing and i went alll the way to the end of the hall again for my new room.
Rooms are nice, they have an interesting layout, flatscreens, good beds, all that fun stuff. The moment i got into bed though, a little brown spider crawled across my pillow, then another about five minutes later. Not a huge problem i figured, and moved on.
Seeing as how i had nothing, i ended up using the hotel shampoo and soap (which has a really odd smell) sunflowers and grapefruit should stay as they are, not mixed *blech* and came back to shower the next day to realize the cleaning ladies hadn't restocked me with anything, no new soap, no shampoo, nothing.
A couple mornings later i woke up to a not so welcome mouse scurrying though my backpack!!! It was something ridiculous like six in the morning and I heard a crackeling in my bag so i quickly reached over and pulled it off the nightstand and turned on the light. it ran away somewhere under my bed and I called front desk immediately. It couldnt be dealt with right away as the manager wasnt there, but the lady at the desk was really sweet about it, made sure i was ok and not freaking out too too bad. And she called me sweetie which is always a nice thing to hear in the morning, so Kudos to whoever hired her.
Then another spider.
Its cheap, yes ,but like in most cases, you get what you pay for, and apparently i spent 90 a night for a mouse and spiders, and slow internet.
