We stayed in the cottage for 3 days. I loved the 1950's seaside decor. The cottage had everything you could need for a for a comfortable stay, including a kitchen and the most comfortable king size bed I've ever slept in!
Set amongst beautiful countryside with the convenience of being close to shops and resturants.
We will definately stay again.

We travelled for 6 weeks in Canada with another couple staying mainly at B&B's as we own and operate a B&B in Australia. Audrey and Steve spoilt us in every way - great hostitality, superb cooking, very comfortable accommodation and excelent value.

Our family stays in Nanaimo once or twice a year to visit relatives, and as a base for our Vancouver Island exploring. We had stayed at other hotels in the downtown Nanaimo area, and came to Millstone Manor looking for a different experience. We loved it, and have made it our home away from home in Nanaimo. While only minutes away from town, you truly do get to enjoy the peace and quiet of the country. Hosts Audrey and Steve do an excellent job of balancing warm hospitality and respectful privacy. The Gate House is perfect for when we're on "vacation time" - breakfast whenever we're ready, and coming and going throughout the day. Over our several stays we've joined in a backyard bbq, had rides on Steve's tractor, brought the grandparents for stays, enjoyed Audrey's afternoon tea, and had excellent bagged lunches for our island adventures. Our kids start talking about Audrey's Nanaimo Bars that will be waiting for them on the coffee table even before we're off the ferry!

We have had a great time at Audry's & Steve's B&B. The appartment type rooms are spacious and very nice. The breakfasts are excellent and creative. Most of all, the hosts are helpful, caring and very friendly. To put it in a nutshell, you can really relax and enjoy your stay.
Even more, the location of he B&B is great and very convinient for exploring the island.
