The Pandosy room is as private as an open loft can be. There is no door or walls, for it opens onto the dining room below. You know there is a lack of privacy, when you are told on checking in, that in the morning, the people eating breakfast can hear you.
What is has in floor space, with the sitting area at one end and the bed at the other, it lacks in height. I am 5'2" and consistently bumped my head.
The second night when we came home from our social event, the front door was unlock, and our open loft concept was totally unsecured for anyone to venture in.
The breakfast was slow and leisurely, for it took over an 1 hour on the first day and 1 hour and 45 minutes on the second to have the breakfast served. We really did not have a choice of the menu on the first day. The amount served is great for those that like a light breakfast, not recommended for those with a hearty appetite. We had to ask for the second cup of coffee, napkins, water, etc. The cook Jeremy tried, but he definitely is not a waiter or hostess.
The B & B is pet friendly for they have a cat and dog, which has the run of the house and the Pandosy room. On the last day the cat climbed up onto my leg, claws and all, clawing at my new pants.
The room lacked allot. There are two TV's but no remotes that work, for they did not have any batteries in them. The bed side lamp did not work. There were no water drinking glasses. There was a bistro table and chairs, with wine glasses and candels, but the match box was empty.
The home does not have central air conditioning. So for the Pandosy room, they have a noisy fan at the bedroom side and and a noisy free standing A/C on the sitting area side. Both of which you would want to turn off to sleep. The windows to open are crank handles, for which the handles were missing on all but one window. I finally found the one window with a crank handle and was able to move it around to open the other windows. The loft concept is also problematic in regards to the heat of Kelowna.
We slept with the windows open, which brings the noise of the busy street, and the bright morning sun.
The bathroom, spacious, large shower, low ceiling, had a strange smell to it. Since there were not screens on the bathroom window, did not want to open it, so the fan was left on all the time.
There is a bar fridge, coffee maker, but there were no cups or coffee. The coffee that was then supplied had pills mixed in with the coffee.
The only times that I talked with Kris was after we left the B & B and both conversations were not pleasant. Prior to checking in, all of our communications were thru email. After the 2 phone conversation that I had with Kris, I found her quick to become adversarial and accusatory. In our case, she did not properly read our emails before we arrived, which had her accusing us of trying to put one over on her. It then went from bad to worse.
We have stayed in B & B before and usually find them a great way to travel. All the B & B's that I have stayed at in the past, I would go back, for I have fond memories. I will not go back to this one.
