Ok... so we come back to the Vineyard Inn in Kelowna for a second year because they were more than accomodating to our team last year and we all just had an amazing experience.
We were all happy to be back and enjoyed our stay again, maybe made a little bit too much noise, but with no complaints brought to our attention (*) were able to happily continue until the end of our stay.

Upon our check out when we went to pay.... we were to say.. a little more than surprised to find out that our bill came to a mere $600 more than we were intially quoted after taxes. We of course went a little of the deep end on being told how much they expected us to pay... after much conversation, speaking to hotel and even its owners... and the hotel ADMITTING that they made a mistake and misquoted us before we came.... they still didn't believe a mistake had been made on their part.
It is common knowledge that when a mistake is made within your company in a circumstance such as this (i work in a hotel industry) that it is the hotel and it's associates who suffer the consequences, not the ones who are the GUESTS at your hotel. It's time for the owners of this place the man up to their mistakes and take maybe a step or two backwards to improve themselves for the future... great hotel... management cares about their profits and only their profits..
