“Close to Orchard Park Mall but noisy for sleeping”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 15 December 2011

This is a retro property; they still use keys instead of key cards.
The halls and rooms are very clean but it sure can use an update.
Decor from the 60's.

We had a room close to a busy street and it was very noisy for
sleeping. Also, could hear movement and walking in room above.
For those reasons, I would not stay there again.

The pool and hot tub area looked very nice.

The complimentary muffin in the morning was very dry.

However, for location and price, the place had good value.

Room Tip: Don't know if any of the rooms would be quiet for sleeping.

“Nice clean rooms, close to shopping”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 11 December 2011 via mobile

Stayed for a weekend, rooms are comfortable. Hotel needs a little paint and upgrading. Hot tub was warm and pool was cold! Good value, close to Orchard Park Mall.

“Good for the price”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 5 November 2011

I was surprised how expensive Kelowna was. The Dilworth was good for the price, convenient location, great service and wonderful beds. It is older so bathroom was a bit tired but CLEAN. Road noise was a bit much in early night but either dropped off or I fell into deep sleep. I would definitely stay here again.

“Bring the towels with you”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 4 October 2011

We stayed at this hotel at the beginning of September. We had a very large room with balcony and kitchenette well equipped with whatever is necessary to make a small meal. So we were pleased with the room and cleanness of the place. We don't understand, however, this silly thing about the towels. There was two of us plus a kid and all we have got was a three face towels and three small towels. There was some notes all over the bathroom about saving the environment but denying the customers towels is hardly the way. The area is very nice and they have very descent indoor pool and hot tub. Also they serve the coffee and muffins at the reception. Overall we had very good experience at this place except for the towels.

Hello Marek B, I am pleased that you enjoyed your stay with us. In many of our rooms we have a separate wash area and shower area, face cloths and hand towels are in the wash area and bath towels are in the shower area, often due to lack of wall space the bath towels are behind the door. I can insure you that we have face cloths, hand towel and bath towels for all registered guests in each room. Our action to reduce harmful detergent overuse does not affect the stocking of room towels. I look forward to your return to the Dilworth Inn.

“A reasonable 'budget' stay.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 3 October 2011

We checked in here for 1 night as it is only a quick stop in Kelowna. The hotel seems a bit dated and could do with major refurb. We were in a ground floor room and it was very noisy from occupnet upstairs. Every movement could be heard as it appears to be wooden floors. Rooms are basic although fully equipped, tea, coffee, fridge, microwave etc. there is also a pool and hot tub which were OK. Straight outside our groundfloor window, practically leaning on our window was a chained up wheelbarrow, rake and broom which I presume are the handymans. Not the nicest things to look at out of your room.
Overall an OK stay. If I were stopping for multiple nights I would give a miss. If I were coming back to Kelowna for a single night, I would have a look at alternatives but it wouldnt be the end of the world if I had to stop again although I would insist on a 1st floor room.
