We stayed one night en route from Lake Louise to Vancouver. Decent, standard motel - desk staff friendly, room large with a huge air conditioner which was welcome on the very warm night we arrived. Situated just next to the main road that passes through kelowna. initially we were a bit disappointed with kelowna as driving in from the east the night before it just seemed to be mile after mile of drive through burger places, very much a car area, even the starbucks opposite the hotel is a drivethrough - we had never seen a drive through coffee shop before! Free wifi was handy, plenty of parking, seemed to be quite a few small flies in the room but i guess that's summer for you. Overall pretty comfy, standard stay. Booked through a well known bidding site for around 90cad i think it was inc fees etc. If you do visit kelowna, please carry on west and into the town centre proper which is much more attractive, we had breakfast next to the river in the park, really lovely spot before continuing on to vancouver. overall, not fancy but does thge job for an overnighter!
