“Nice stay in Kelowna”

The hotel ist outside of the central area at the crossing of highway 33 and 97. The beds are typicial NorAm and there were 2 Queen beds in my room. The rooms were spacious, nice and clean. The whole hotel is not that new but in an acceptable condition. There is an indoor pool, an outdoor pool and a hot tub as well as a fitness room and a sauna. The staff was very friendly and helpful. There is a complimentary breakfast available with muffins, fruits, juices and coffe. You can have a BBQ brekfast with toast, hashbrown, 2 eggs and sausages or bacon for CAD 6.50 which is delicous. The internet is complimentary and was relatively fast.

“We loved it, looking forward to coming back.”

We were very pleseantly surprised at this hotel. We were on a very tight budget and we looked for the most inexpensive place to stay for three days in Kelowna and after looking at other hotels during our stay, we realized we had made a wonderful choice.
Other than a few mishaps with the bathroom, our stay was perfect. Thank you.

“Fun and affordable”

I spent a week with my son while he attended a hockey school. I would recommend this place to teams attending tournaments. A couple of baseball teams showed up on the weekend and I could see that all the kids as well as their parents were having a great time gathering outside around the pool and barbeques. Lots of things to do to keep young the kids busy and entertained.

“Summer 2011”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 17 July 2011

Okay, our condo fell through so we booked in here a few months back for a stay in July 2011. 2 Adults and 2 teen boys. The hotel is quite dismal looking from the street. The actual room we had was a one bedroom with kitchen. The boys slept in the bedroom and the two adults in the living room on bed and single pullout.
The kitchen was functional and had all the basics required. Our room did have Air conditioning and it kept the living room cool. The bedroom was a lot hotter. The blackout curtains on the patio door that leads to the courtyard did a great job keeping room dark and the noise of the a/c blocked out traffic noise. The boys opened the bedroom window and did mention the traffic noise was quite loud.
The room was old and dated but tidy and decent. Cleaning staff did an average job. The courtyard was quite nice with tables and umbrellas, a pool indoors and out, lounge chairs and volleyball netting. It seems they are working to make it nice but have a bit of ways to go yet. The continental breakfast was quite lean. Coffee/Tea/Juice boxs, muffins and oranges from Costco. It would have been nice to see some effort put in and have some local fruit. They offer pay bacon and eggs Wed-Sunday but we did not try that. The weekdays there were fine but the parties a loud on the weekend when a team showed up for Valley of the Champions base ball tournament. I wish we had have left the night before as this is when I come to my complaint. We got up to shower at 8 am and there was ZERO water pressure or hot water in our room. We spoke to front desk and they reported that it was a city issue but it would seem that it is a hotel issue as we only had the problem when the hotel was booked high on the weekend. I was less than happy to have to travel 12 hours with no shower. It is convenient to everything if you have a car. The staff is polite and the no dogs in the courtyard policy needs to be enforced as some people felt it didnt apply to them. I would reccomend it mid week for families. I do think their rates for the one bedroom is a bit high for sure. It was 179 plus taxes a night. Perhaps i would have felt I got a bargin had it have been 139. Not sure if we will book there again. The water pressure was a pretty big issue. To me the biggest perk was pulling up and parking at your door. The courtyard area was also very nice and well kept and convenient. Laundry facilities worked well. Sugestions would be for them to install a functional Ice Machine or sell ice, Also offerring a mid week room rate would be nice and improve water pressure.
