We recently stayed at this hotel that was full of sports teams. After 11 pm we were frustrated with kids running and banging on walls. The desk staff promptly stopped this and threatened to kick them out. Next night no problem. The staff is absolutely excellent as was our room. The breakfast was the best we have had. Next time, should this happen, they asked us to please report this immediately and not wait to see if it stops. We will! Check when you book as to how many teams have booked. Most are very well behaved and appreciate getting rooms and even opened kitchen at 5 am for them...how nice.

Bit surprised at the size of the bed and by that I mean it appeared to be multiple mattresses piled on top of each other. Still though it was very comfortable.

Checked in for the week starting 7 November 2011 into one of the double rooms in the tower. The hotel sits in what can only be described as a huge never ending retail park on the road between Downtown Kelowna and it's airport. One advantage is that basically every resturant brand in North America is on your doorstep so you won't have to drive or even walk far for grub. Bad news is is that you'll miss out on the small but great nightlife in downtown Kelowna itself. Didn't notice any noise during my stay but my view was basically of a garden centre and some hills.

Room itself was comfortable but the bath was absolutely tiny which made me worry if it could even keep in the shower. No wonder the shower curtain was huge compared to what you'd have at home (or at a hotel with a normal bath). TV was big and had a good offering and the hotel offers free wifi.

Staff were excellent and check in was quick. They were just as quick to answer our questions about taxis and places to eat.

The breakfast was...well...like any buffet breakfast in North America: those colonials still haven't quite managed to master the art of having bacon with meat (i.e. back bacon) instead of the strips of fat they have now.

All in all a nice time. Felt refreshed every morning really.

My husband and I stayed at this hotel on a weekend get-away. We didn't have reservations and were offered a terrific room on the 6th floor of the tower with a discount thrown in! The room was really nice with a comfortable king-sized bed, microwave, small fridge, flat screen TV and free Wi-Fi.

The room was nice and quiet, we had great service during our stay, we enjoyed the hot tub immensely, my husband enjoyed the complimentary breakfast both mornings...we really had no complaints at all and would stay here again.

I stayed here one night for business, my company chose the hotel. Check-in/check-out were quick, front desk was friendly, room was clean and a good size, bed was comfortable and it was quiet at night. If I was travelling for pleasure I would probably pick a hotel closer to the lake, but for a business trip it was more than fine. There's a business centre to print boarding passes and such. I did want to mention the hand lotion they provide: it's Holiday Inn's own brand and it smells like cinnamon buns. It is by far the most awesome hotel toiletry I have ever come across. I'm hoarding my one small vial. I would seriously consider staying at a Holiday Inn in the future, just to get more of that awesome cinnamon lotion.
