I would like to say to everyone that is going to be spending some time in kamloops to stay at another hotel. I'm a pretty easy going person and let a lot of things slide under the rug but I really need to say a few things about my stay at the knights inn. First thing is first, the owner is a very nice lady but ... The whole hotel has a very awful smell to it, it's like a car air freshener mixed with bleach. There is a lot of university students that stay there and the noise is always an issue. The cleaning staff very seldom come to the room to replace towels and clean the sheet. You has to go down to the front desk and ask but they do come a few days after asking. It fairly old and out dated but not the end of the world. The biggest turn off that I noticed or should say found, was a bed bug crawling on my box spring coming up towards the mattress. I had placed it into a ziplock baggy and brought it to the front desk. There solution was to move me to another room, not to bring in a exterminator or to take care of the problem properly. I did check out and she kindly refunded my money. For all the hassle that I went through, I wish for no one to stay there. NOT WORTH YOUR TIME AND MONEY.
