Very unclean hotel, found cigarette package wrapper on the floor, and food crumbs left along the edge of the bottom of the bed. The free breakfast included bananas that were black. The price for $89.00 for one night on a thursday was not worth the value at all. Also having the house keeper smoking outside the front doors was very unacceptable, the hotel is a smoking and non-smoking mix. Do not reccomend this one.

It was a long weekend in the summer and we needed to book a room for 4 people last minute for one night only. The town was booked solid, except for places that were charging an arm and a leg. Fortunately, this hotel was available at a rate that wasn't going to kill us. It was still on the high side, but we couldn't expect much less considering we were booking at the last minute, it was the peak of summer, and most other places required a minimum 2 nights stay. Bearing that in mind, the hotel worked out just fine. They allowed us to check in early, despite them being very busy, and they surprised us by offering a complimentary continental breakfast in the morning, which was not mentioned on their website. The breakfast selection was minimal, but enough to get you going for the day. Beds were comfortable and shower was great. Location was good too - walking distance to mall and eateries. For a last minute booking, the hotel was clean and completely met our needs.

Arrived at hotel late at night after show. The hotel was organized by Rockymountaineer. The reception on arival was cool at best, other thought downright rude, just throwing room key on counter without even looking up or making any coment at all. In the morning, 3/4 of those staying at motel had COLD showers. When asked, reception said wait 20 mins and try again - STILL COLD. When approached Reception stated that it always hapens when the Rockymountaineer is in. Breakfast was a few items on bench beside reception, No Orange, no milk, cold coffee. - Glad to get out of there.

Lovely place. Big rooms and one of the few that had wi-fi working.
$84.00 USD was a bit hight for mid-week??? Tried other places but most were booked. Train stops there on the way to Banff.

3-4 miles to downtown. Close to hwy.
