Alright it's not very modern. There is no air con and the room wasn't the cleanest I've ever seen. BUT honestly sod all that, because you won't care!

It's surrounded by two stunning lakes. The room (on the corner) had beautiful panoramic views. The service was charming and helpful. It was a very decent price and it was such a peaceful and quiet place. You won't regret staying here, whether it's for a night stop over like we did or even for a good few days.

We were just staying for one night on the way from Whistler to Jasper, and it was fine for one night. It's in a lovely spot beside the lake, about 25km south of Kamloops. The hotel isn't all that modern - I think it would be cold in winter - and there isn't a lift. Food was great though - huge multi-course meal for $30 including excellent steak, and breakfast pretty good too.

If you're staying here as part of a Trailfinders itinerary and want to get to Jasper as fast as possible, this place is about 25km out of the way, and an alternative is to drive 100km further north from Kamloops to get to Clearwater, though the hotel there would have to be very good to beat this place.

located some 25 kms south of Kamloops (which is good to know as the address implies it's in Kamloops) adjacent to a lake with wonderful views. we stayed for just one night - in a small wooden cabin (somewhat tired but with all conveniences) on the lake shore - and were advised to get up at 6.15 am to see the beavers return to their lodge at 6.30 am - which they did on time!

This place was great- we had a great room with 3 double beds (2 adults a 2 children) and a fine view of the front lake. The food in the restaurant was fantastic - the best we sampled while on a 3 week holiday in Canada!!! We stayed here for a night as a stop over between Jasper and Abbotsford and would definitely recommend it to others. A wondeful, peaceful place with great dining!!
