Booked this on line, arrived and it was under construction in the front, but I stayed in the back side.
Being that this hotel is located below and beside hwy 1, you would assume that they have built a quality building.....they have not. I have stayed at many hotels that have been located by hwys or main roads, and you could not hear traffic at all. I was located on the ground floor and all through the night you hear a constant noise of traffic, and you really hear the semi trucks gearing down all the time. As well any other rooms connected to yours, you will hear when anyone closes a door beside you or above you, as well as when someone has a shower in their rooms
I was not happy at all with the traffic noise all the time, being that they are built beside a hwy you think they would have sound proofed alot better than that.
Anyways the upside is the rooms are spotless and the service was good. I never heard any construction while there at all.
I would not stay again because of hwy 1.

Stayed in Kamloops 2 nights January 20-21, 2012. Accent Inn is great place to stay! Booked room through Expedia and had no problem with check-in. Staff were polite and helpful, front desk staff (Jenn) even checked the road report for us upon check-out. Very clean room, beds were comfortable, pillows decent, lots of towels, even an extra balnket/pillow in the room. Each room has a coffee maker, mini fridge, flat screen tv, soap, lotion and shampoo. If you leave your toothbrush at home they'll provide a complimentary one. You can help yourself to fresh coffee with real cream and apples in the lobby. I would recommend the Kamloops Accent Inn to anyone wanting a decent motel at an economical price, which is easy to find and easy to get around Kamloops from.

We were looking for an economic accomodation for a quick stay to catch an early morning flight. Accent Inn fit the bill with a central location with easy on/off access to the TransCanada Highway. Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful ensuring all my needs were met. Though there's no on site restaurant the hotel is within minutes of a wide variety of restaurants and great shopping. The room was comfortable and very clean. I won`t hesitate to return again.

The management and staff go out of their way to make sure your stay is an enjoyable one. They are friendly and very helpful with all your needs. I sleep like a baby, the beds are so comfy.
I will miss front desk staff Nancy and Brian as they have moved from Kamloops. Good luck in your new home.
