I am becoming a regular of this hotel. I find it to be a good value.

They are currently undergoing renovations. I would have thought that there would be a little better rate during this time of renovations, but not the case. I also stayed at the Four Points in Sherwood Park 2 months ago during a renovation (which was an AWFUL experience) and I will say that this renovation in Kamloops is less inconvenient.

The renovated rooms are comfortable and nicely appointed. I really like to small touch of free water bottle in Four Points Hotels. It's a small but very pleasing gesture away from the regular assumption that hotels are always trying to soak you on the little things.

The restaurant (Ric's Grill) is quite good. I had one complaint out of several meals and it was handled very well.

Room service is fast and good, however, one thing is strange... On the bottom of the room service menu it states that there is a $3 in room dining charge, yet on the right hand side of the very same menu it states there is a $4 charge. I don't care which one it is, but it's funny that it has a discrepancy on a professionally made menu. FYI my bill had the $3 charge (not that I cared).

The pool looks nice and it has a slide...

Overall a great place to stay in Kamloops, I look forward to seeing the completed renovation.

Great staff, comfy rooms, great beds, clean and convenient location. Excellent seafood restaurant "Ric's Grill" and fantastic drinks in the bar. Always a great stay here, highly recommended.

Spacious well appointed rooms. Above average fitness facility and average pool/hot tub area. Location is very convenient to the highway and there is a mall a short distance away. No included breakfast keep this from being a 4 rating but all in all this is a solid choice for the Kamloops area esp if you can get a decent rate.

I am often in Kamloops for business and have always chosen the Four Points as my hotel of choice. It is usually quiet and has the basics that you need for a short stay. My past stay however, my room had dirty linens, the decorative pillow had a horrible body odor permeated into the fabric. Kind of turned me off staying here again.
But, the staff are really great and the attached restaurant is nice, however, a bit pricey.
Will have to look into other options in Kamloops for my stays.
