The room we stayed in was clean and comfortable. The price was very reasonable compared to the next closest one in the area which was double the cost. All the staff where very friendly. We stayed there when the summer games just started and didn't hear any noise from anyone even though all rooms were booked. The A/C was a bit noisy but most window ones are. We still got a good nights sleep regardless. I would recommend this place to anyone who is planning on staying on the north shore area. Plenty of places to go within walking distance.

This is our first stop when we travel from Vancouver to Prince George. The office staff has always greeted us with a smile and they are very courteous. Our email requests for our travel dates are answered very quickly. The cleanliness of the rooms are never in question. As for the sound of the AC unit, we use a sound machine at home and have no trouble sleeping. We love the North Side of Kamloops for the shopping, food and quiets parks along the river.

The room was clean which is a plus. The air-conditioner was extremely noisy and we were told all window air-conditioners are noisy. We have been staying in motel for the past seven days and did not have one air-conditioner that was this noisy. The new green air-conditioner/heater units are virtually silent. Stay during cooler weather and open the window. Otherwise, fairly well located, no good restaurants in the area. You have to go downtown to eat.

Yes, it's convenient, clean, budget priced and well placed but the owner has a contract with a local train company and about 20 young people stay at the motel every night and party on the outside BBQ deck creating the usual noise associated with beer drinking. And to make matters worse the owner placed us in a room just feet from the party. (Where was his head?) Note: The air conditioning units are so loud we couldn't sleep. You're better to pay more and get some shut-eye somewhere else.
