I experienced a true soul healing this weekend. A woman's retreat which may have saved my sanity. At a time of the year when bleak weather combines with the exhaustion of post-Christmas, here was a little piece of Heaven on Earth. The lodge itself could not be more beautiful or inviting. It stands solidly and majestically on the banks of the Fraser River, overlooking Bison in the foreground and beautiful mountains in the background. That alone is enough to relax the mind and body, but added to that were fantastic quiet & comfortable rooms, with THE MOST comfortable beds and down duvets. So, of course we slept well. I cannot even begin to describe the sinfully, exquisite gourmet meals which were served. The chef is a master, and willing to share his recipes with any who ask. The lodge atmosphere, with the lounge, fireplace and games room is inviting and relaxing. Aesthetic services were available to any who desired, and received raves from all who partook.
The relaxed decadence of the weekend is what saved me. I did not need to ask for a thing. All I could possibly want, was at my fingertips the entire weekend, and there was nothing I was required to do. Just relax and enjoy...which I did... and will again, as often as they offer these weekends.

This lodge is beautiful, inside as well as its surroundings. It felt great to just relax and absorb the warmth of the place.
The meals were absolutely incredible! We were very well taken care of.

2 days of fantastic meals, great atmophere, manicure, peticure, massage and chocolate - all the things ladies like. The Chef is out of this world. No artist could paint a bettwer view. There are real Bison - yes Buffalo - roaming along the river. Can`t wait for the next women`s retreat. Awsome!!!
