We were greeted with a great warmth by Jacquie and John; they took care of all the details - even breakfast brought into our suite.
The Meadow Suite had both of our must-haves: wood burning stove and hot tub in the garden. Our only regret was not walking to the upper deck that overlooks the valley - next time for sure!
The proximity to beautiful Harrison Lake makes this a perfect spot for a romantic getaway, a family weekend or a vacation rental. Glad we found it!

We had the greatest time at South Garden, the breakfasts were amazing, the bed beyond comfortable, the home touches were so appreciated. Everything was clean and well cared for. We will be going back for sure. The cottage was beyond expectations and the service was wonderful. Thank you Jacquie and John for making our honeymoon an experience to remember!

In looking for a B&B in this area for a quick stopover, I was initially impressed by the photos and presentation on the South Garden website. As a solo, I made my booking and was happy to receive a reduction for traveling as a "single" person. Although my stay was business related, I enjoyed the oasis of peace and tranquility that I found in this location, but also knew that the more active ambience of Harrison Hots Springs was just minutes away by car. I enjoyed a lovely home cooked breakfast in the comfort on my room before heading out for my meeting. I would gladly recommend this location.

Our group of four young families hired the whole house for a weekend getaway and self-catered. It was perfect as we all had our own en-suite bedrooms, so could enjoy each others company as much as we liked, but could retreat for some quiet time if we felt like it.
The owners were great - very helpful in answering our questions, and very kindly left out some toddler toys for the younger children.
The gardens are stunning, and the hot-tub was just lovely.
We had plenty of room for the kids to play croquet on the lawn and burn some energy, and we all slept very comfortably in the lovely beds at night.
