I stayed one night here and found the room was clean, quiet, staff were friendly and helpful. No complaints.

I couldn't have asked for a better spot close to town, ( I was walking) and the rooms were quaint. Talk about your friendly locals. This is a prime example of a relaxed and awesome place to rest your feet. Plenty of room to stretch out. I can't stress how kind these people were. They will go out of their way for you.
Other wise huge thumbs up to this local little gem.

We did a wedding in Victoria, BC and felt that driving back to Port Alberni would be a to long of a day so we decided to stay at the Travelodge in Duncan.
The staff welcomed us and made us feel so welcome.
We were tired and they got us into our room without delay.
We even got a phone call from the desk asking if we had everything we needed.. WOW..
The room was very clean and well maintained....
We will return... loved our stay... Thank you :)

I stayed here on my way to Victoria with my family and it was perfect for what we needed. The room was surprisingly modern with cozy bedding and even had bathrobes in the room. The food in the pub and restaurant was so so yummy. The hotel does not have a pool but there is an awesome rec center across the street with a waterslide and even a lazy river. Front desk was helpful and friendly.
