Very quaint. Nice family that owns and runs it, very welcoming people. My children were very happy, my husband and I relaxed. Great for families, not too far a drive to feel like a world away!

I can't say enough good things about Forest Echoes! My two sisters and our families were there on the long weekend in August for a family reunion close by. We rented all three cabins.
Having hoteled it for the previous week, it was so nice to have the room provided by these cabins. There was everything you needed for a great stay, with three beds (queen, futon, rollaway), full kitchens, and bathrooms.

The location couldn't have been better. Yes, we had to drive to the beach, but the cabins are well located to virtually everything in Cultus Lake. Since it was the long weekend, and hot, the whole area around the lake was crazy busy. We were able to turn off the main road and drive into peace and quiet. I live in the country, and these cabins were even quieter at night than home! They were beautifully landscaped, and our kids had fun exploring the little brook and waterfall close by.

Ellie and Gary were pleasant and unobtrusive. I had booked on the internet several months in advance, and Ellie was great to deal with the whole time. Any time I had a question, she responded right away. This was the highlight of our trip. I couldn't have asked for a cleaner, quieter environment than the one provided at Forest Echoes. Go there, you will love it.

The Forest Echoes is a true gem at Cultus Lake. Amidst the massive numbers of campers at the lake it is such a pleasure to drive onto the private acreage surrounded by trees and nothing else after a great day of boating, fishing, swimming, watersliding, hiking, canoeing etc...The cabins are spotlessly clean, the hosts are very helpful, welcoming and friendly and the property is a piece of heaven, so hard to find during the busy tourist season. Quiet nights, no noisy campsite fire parties nearby. It was nice to see no TV staring us in the face when we arrived (something we can stay at home and do), though they are available if wanted. What a lovely escape from the city any time of the year. Great for a romantic weekend!

My husband, myself and our 9 yr. old son stayed in the "Owl" Cabin from Sept. 9 - 11th, 2005. These units are the cleanest and neatest I have seen in a long time. Ellie and her family have done an outstanding job on the upkeep of these units. Cabins have full kitchens (minus the micro), full size fridge and stove with all untensils. Coffee maker, toaster, pots and pans, compete with dishes. Full bathroom, with bath tub. All linens, towels, etc. are provided. TV with VCR. We brought up our DVD player. Loft upstairs is lovely, Qeen Size Bed, closet, night stands etc. Our son stayed on futon downstairs. Another fold up is in cabin if needed.
Very private, picnic table with tent net (NO BUGS). Rates are very reasonable for the quality of your stay. All cabins (3) have privacy fences in between them. Sunnyside beach (Main beach) is within walking distance. We all agreed, this was one of the nicest places we had been at in some time.
