Great hotel, near new and the complimentary upgrade to a corner suite was appreciated. Lovely salt water pool and breakfast buffet where you can make your own Belgian waffles. Each hotel suite is shared by part-owners throughout the year, and rented out when vacant. This means it is furnished and maintained at a higher level compared to a traditional hotel, leading to great value for the room rate. Only remark is if you need to travel to Duncan, the highway commute at night is a little tricky for newcomers since there is no street lighting or signs to forewarn of upcoming curves (the locals claim they do not notice this deficit since they are so used to the road). No onsite restaurant and businesses close early in Chemainus, so make arrangements to eat in Duncan or buy groceries to prepare in the fully equipped kitchenette.

i visit the area on business and stay at this hotel appoximately 6 times per year.
The property is modern, has an outdoor parking lot with plenty of space, with some view rooms.

The staff and accommodations are excellent. The rooms are mostly suites ( two TV's!), with bedrooms with sliding doors. The beds are comfortable, internet connection is strong, lots of thought went into the layout of the rooms. The rooms are quite large, nicely furnished and attractive.

There is no restaurant, but a breakfast, including hot items isincluded.

The rates can be quite high, but only a few dollars more than the nearest equivalent hotels in Duncan ( e.g. Best Western), so shop around different sites before booking.

If you need to stay mid island and want a big step up from the other alternatives, this is a great choice.

We love to go to our home away from home. We have been going for the last six years at least once a year sometimes three times a year. We love the smiling faces and the great service from the time we enter to when we leave. The Inn is so clean,very quiet,all the comforts of home right down to the great buffet breakfast.Never any problems parking just pull up and park. We love also that you can get out for a nice little walk and visit the cute little town and have a nice meal and see a great show. We would recommend this Inn to everyone who wants to have a great get a way.

Love, love this hotel. I've been to many hotels in my life and this was by far the nicest. Plush top of the line beds with comfy downy comforters, excellent fall to sleep pillows, quiet, extremely clean, large, different layouts including my room that had 2 TV's, a couch, kitchenette plus Queen bed all for around $130. I would highly recommend BW. Chemainus is a little town but if you drive around towards the water you will be pleasantly surprised by some of the quaint Victorian looking houses, beautiful views and awesome restaurants. Enjoy!
