Stopped at the Econo-Lodge in Red Deer, en-route to the Rockies. It looked like a cheaper hotel, which suited me fine as it was late at night and I just needed a place to sleep. Paid $107.01 for two people and a small dog (inc. taxes)...felt this was high for what was provided. The room was dingy/musty. I went to bed around midnight and was awoken around 2:00am by some drunk revellers. This went on for hours and kept me up as the walls are paper-thin. Beer bottles lined the parkade in the morning. Lots of highway traffic noise as well. This is pretty much a no-tell motel with a brand name behind it.
