This is a nice enough 2.5* type of hotel, I had the king "suite" (not two rooms, but slight separation between the rooms). Very spacious and comfortable. Oddly small bathroom for the size of the room, bathroom is nothing glamorous but it does have a shower/bath combo, which many hotels are no longer doing.
Big plus was the quiet fridge (I usually find those small fridges really loud) and nice little single serve coffe maker. Bed was large, 2 flat screen tvs. So far so good?
Now the not so good
Lobby - ugh.
Breakfast - I am never a fan of these "hot" breakfasts that are actually one degree off from cold. Not to just condemn these guys, but is there no other affordable bread OTHER than Wonderbread? It seems that all the Best Westerns and Holiday Inns cant find anything else.
The juice was empty, there was only half and half for the coffee. Just not good.
This still would not be enough to keep me away, what will keep me away is the trains. I first knew something was up with the lampshades started rattling at around 11pm. Then all of a sudden my bed started trembling. I actually wondered at first if it was an earthquake. Finally I realized it was a train. Then I realized it again at 1 in the morning, etc etc.
Somehow it was enough to bother me having my room shaking. If it wouldnt bother you, stay there - it is a good price for a nice room (not a great bathroom as mentioned), and the noise from the freeway was hardly noticeable.
