We stayed at this hotel for 1 night on our way to Calgary.
Efficient check in and pleasant receptionist. The room was quite small with one comfortable kingsize bed and 2 bedside tables, wardrobe and chest of drawers, 2 easy chairs ( one of which had bits of potato crisp on the seat ) TV, desk and chair. There was also a small ironing board and iron. The window only opened a small amount.
We didn't use the swimming pool although we did look in but couldn't see a changing room so if you want to use the pool you should ask about this.
We did go into the bar for a drink which was lively on that evening so went into the smaller sitting area. The chairs are comfortable but grubby was is the sofa in the reception area.
We did use the internet which was slow and costs 3 dollars for 15 mins. We found the room it was in by ourselves after enquiring at the desk and being told someone was using it at present. We asked if we had to book the use of it but was just told it was busy, with no indication of where it was.
We did use Deny's Diner very close by which was OK.
Having already stayed in the Sandman in Calgary we were a bit disappointed.
I can't imagine we will ever go to Red Deer again.
