We had an dear aunt that was in Red Deer Hospital who has no family so we spent a few nights in Red Deer while she was there. We stayed near the hospital but as she got better we wanted a pool so we switched to travelodge. They gave us a great deal and offered us the newly renovated room for that price. The pool and hot tub were ok too. I hear they are renovating that area now. We are going back!

Rooms are pretty cramped, older looking rooms seem to be a trademark of travel lodge, the walls were not fully cleaned could tell they missed some spots, overall good value for dollar but if you want cleanliness I suggest somewhere else.

Stayed with my son on Saturday night! Staff was friendly, room was clean and with breakfast included it was great value.

The front desk clerk gave options for rooms and then recommended the quietest floor in the hotel. The bed was very comfortable and because I have arthritis in my back it had enough firmness that I didn't wake up stiff. There was enough seating in the room to have friends and family visit us in the room. The continental breakfast had a good variety of choices. The staff has always been friendly and helpful. An enjoyable experience.
