Excellent breakfast, great service and very clean room. What else can one ask for. Kids had a blast in the waterslide.

Both my sons minor hockey team and my daughters college team use the service plus for all there tournaments out in red deer, and every time ive bin there the staff was great there are alot of rules but it is understandable most hotels dont even rent to teams because of the problems 20 kids in one place can cause. the parents found the staff very accomadating they even let us use the breakfast room for a movie and pizza dinner for the kids(they even let some of the dads use the room for some drinks and a poker game well into the night at no charge we just had to clean up after are selves. the security was telling all the kids to get to there rooms and no walkin in the hallways but again its understandable its a hotel people come there to sleep. i think the hotel is great rooms were big and comfy we got the family suit with bunk beds the kids loved the waterpark and we loved the tim hortons right on the parking lot

We came to Red Deer for a motorcycle show that my husband was in.
When I called they only had smoking rooms left, or we could upgrade to an exec. suite that slept 4.
The room was big enough, a king bed for the adults. But the hideabed was brutal, could barely pull it out and it was all cockeyed to sleep on, and the girls ended up in our bed anyway.

Continental breakfast was ugh, boughten frozen waffles and pancakes and stale muffins - would not recommend. However, Timmy's is just across parking lot and had pleasant, fast service there.

Waterslide at the hotel was great for the kids, they really enjoyed that. Would not stay again however, it was too far from the south side of the city, ie. the Westerner, where my husband was.

The front desk is friendly and helpful. The continental breakfast included fruit and yogart in addition to breads and pasteries and cereals (no whole grains). The seating area is one of the largest I've ever seen. The pool is the landing pad for the waterslide. The room had two queen beds (thin sheets), TV, desk, small fridge, microwave, and coffee maker (didn't see the bathrobe they advertised). While the hotel appears to be new, it's not very soundproof, the airconditioner was noisy, not steady white noise, just annoying noise; lino in the bathroom, and our toilet seat was beat up looking. My previous stay was at the Holiday Inn 67th Street; it is luxury compared to the Service Plus. The hotel was okay, but I would shop around when I'm paying $109 a night as there are newer hotel choices in this area of Red Deer.
