“Nothing special. Would not return.”
We usually stay at a different hotel in Lethbridge, but decided to try out the Quality Inn this time as the Tripadvisor rating was so high and it had a waterslide. We paid more and were disappointed.
This hotel is in the middle of nowhere. 2nd Avenue South completely disappears at one point, and only reappears after taking Crowsnest, with no signs telling you about this weird diversion; the only attractions nearby are the Hampton hotel across the street, and a casino next door. Other than that, nothing. We ended up travelling up to Mayor Magrath Drive for food, shopping, gas, etc. Also, the trains run next door by the grain elevators so if you like long, piercing wails of train horns, perfect!
Our room was on the 4th floor and was narrow and bland. The beds are very firm, and the air conditioning is very loud even on Low and comes on and off through the night instead of being gentle white noise. It was more like an occasional roar. Our shower curtain was dingey and the air conditioner was very dusty at the grill.
The pool is only 1 metre deep, or 3 feet, or 1.2m at one side. The waterslide is too fast for young riders as the design means they come out like a bullet and go under the water really hard.
The corridor walls on the ground floor are peppered with printouts of quotes, inspirational and Christian, and I found this to be a tacky look.
Overall, I would have been happier had I paid much, much less but as it is, there are much better and cheaper options in Lethbridge.
Room Tip: Rooms at the back of the hotel might be quieter as the train runs in front, across the street.

Thank you for your comments on our property. We are truly sorry you were disappointed with your stay. This is not the experience we strive to provide our guests.
The hotel is located in a newer area and it is true the amenities are coming at their own pace. Our hotel is one of the new businesses in this area with much more to come! We have no control of the city road system but yes, 2nd Ave S is broken up due to the highway and train tracks. Interestingly, trains can be heard during the night from almost anywhere in Lethbridge as two lines intersect right in the middle of Lethbridge. If you are outdoors in Lethbridge at night the industrious sound of train horns is always present somewhere in the distance.
We apologize for the condition of the shower curtain and dust on the air conditioner. Although this should not happen, we appreciate that these oversights have been brought to our attention.
The decor on the walls in the corridor tell the stories of our guests and is part of our story as well. We do have a personal approach to the hotel industry. Our guests are family and we treasure the memories we create with them. You will see photos and autographs of famous people and small children alike and we treasure each one of them.
Thank you for your valuable comments. We do hope you will come again.
