Had a block booking for a soccer tournament. Appalling attitude of staff, manager, Johnny, had a bolshoi attitude, who upon checking in right way pointed out the rules that would get one evicted from the hotel - th gruff attitude more suited to a quartermaster than a hotel staff. Rooms were very average. Worse than the Canadian average.

We stayed at Lethbridge Holiday Inn On September 30th to October 2nd, 2011,We were in room number 410.
1. Clogged Sink, repaired the next day, pipes leaked, used bucket provided by housekeeping for leak
.2. TV CC did not work properly (my husband is hearing impaired)
3. Hot tub jets did not work at all,
4. Headboard was not attached to wall; fell on my husband's head
5. Air Conditioner, was in disrepair, needed repair
6. Bathtub had clog
7. Hairdryers did not work
8. There was a honeymoon suite onsite that they offered to move us to. However their intent was to move the honeymooners (not yet arrived) into our suite instead! We would only have to wait a few minutes while they removed all the decorations that their friends and family had put up in the room beforehand. We refused to be part of this.
9. We had our breakfast at the Hotel restaurant, Mr. Mikes Steakhouse and Lounge. We purchased a package deal that included breakfast, not realizing that there were limits on what we could select. For example: we could order tea and coffee but not juice as we needed to pay for one of them. The pancakes tasted awful, and our server advised us not to order the poached eggs as well, as the cooks were very young and they did not know what they were doing. Not all of the foods offered on the menu were available. The second day our juice was included with our breakfast. I think the waitress felt sorry for us. Instead of a quiet restful weekend away, we entertained, housekeeping, staff, managers, and repair men, from Friday night until Sunday, when we left. We spent more time with staff, then with each other.

Stayed at this property many times when it was the Ramada Hotel... Wish they wouldn't of changed over to the Holiday Inn...Breakfast bar is now gone so you have to go over to Mr Mikes... Staff seem to of changed as well since the change over and not all for the best... I'll stick to the Other Ramada in town..

I have stayed at this property several times over the past years when it was still a Ramada. Renovations have updated and brightened the property. Staff are very friendly and helpful. The waterpark is a fun way to spend an evening and great for families. I no longer stay at this property when I am in Lethbridge since they discontinued the free continental breakfast. As a business traveler, I don't have time to waste in a restaurant with pretty slow service - I prefer a grab and go option.
