This isn't really a B&B -- no breakfast -- but it's a lovely little house only a few minutes walk from the train station. The accommodations include a bedroom, bathroom and living area with a microwave and fridge (so you can store food for breakfast if you want). The rooms were all comfortable, and we were very happy with the location. We didn't see the owner much, but there weren't really any issues, so that was fine.

We stayed in the Pyramid Suite, which as indicated in a previous review is a walk-out basement. We had 2 bedrooms (1 queen bed and 2 twin beds), a full bathroom and a small living area/kitchenette. It was a perfect arrangement for us, and the cost was less than what we would have paid to rent a room at a 2- or 3-star hotel in town. Location was fabulous -- we thoroughly enjoyed the fact that downtown was a few minutes was south and lots of hiking trails, etc. were just a few minutes walk north! We felt like we had our own little apartment, with all the essentials available for breakfast and lunches. Jelly, the owner, even left us jellybeans (which our 2 sons promptly devoured)!

I was sorry to see the review posted by chrisandkris of the Pyramid Suite; we stayed in the Signal Suite (upstairs) and found it nearly perfect. (Yes, I'd read before that many of the in-home accommodations in Jasper were garden apartments, which I'd translated to basement....and we only needed one bed.) So, when we arrived we were greeted by our gracious and most enjoyable hostess -- who immediately made us feel most welcome. The suite upstairs was newly done, with massive windows that let in enormous amounts of light, a small but functional kitchen area with refrigerator, microwave, broiler and sink, wineglasses in the cabinet, an immaculately clean bath with hot water in the shower, and a pleasant sitting area all in addition to a queen bed attractively situated on the diagonal. Oh, did I mention the dog? Yes, our hostess had one of the most well trained setters I've ever encountered....was in the yard....even seemed to know his job was to be a greeter, also. I've titled this review "nearly perfect," because I'm sure something wasn't -- but I can't remember what it might have been. Overall, on reflection, I think I'd just call it perfect. (BTW -- it's on the main street, but two or three blocks, walking distance, from the commercial area -- no adverse sounds from restaurants or bars or even traffic. Train sounds, yes, slightly but overall the Signal Suite was nearly silent. The design of the massive windows was visually impressive and I'm sure they would be warm in winter, also.)

This was one of many places that my wife and I, plus a friend, stayed during our holiday in the Canadian and Amerian mountain regions.

A&A is situated in the quiet and picturesque town of Jasper. There is an immediate feeling of 'at home'. None of the formalities that you have with hotels, instead a really nice clean apartment with two bedrooms, a bathroom and a well equipped lounge with kitchen facilities. Here, you can enjoy in peace and quiet.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We were extremely comfortable and enjoyed restful and undisturbed sleep.
