“Welcoming and familiar.”
3 of 5 stars Reviewed 7 February 2012

Have stayed at the Jasper Inn many times over the years. The hotel has been consistently a welcoming place to stay.

The rooms are well appointed, they are clean and if you have a loft room, then you will have a kitchen/ette. Most loft rooms have a fireplace as well. The rooms are not overly fancy, but are basic rooms with a good number of amenities.

The Room we had was a loft room with the bedroom in the loft. The hotel does not supply wood for the fireplace, but will allow you to burn the firelogs. Not nearly as romantic as a wood burning fire, but for safety and cleaning, I can understand where the fire logs are better.

The room was clean and even with the abundance of families staying at the hotel, the room was for the most part quiet. Some noise from the hallway, leaked into the room, but it was minimal.

The bathroom was very small, but water pressure for the shower was good. My only complaint is that the bedroom is in the loft, and the bathroom is on the main/entry level, so if you need to go to the bathroom in the middle of the night, you are walking down the stairs.

The heat in the room was a bit inconsistent. At one point it was very warm in the loft bedroom at another point it was cold. I think that this has been an issue at the Jasper Inn for as long as I can remember going there.

Had breakfast at The Inn Restaurant. The buffet had the breakfast buffet basics, and the staff were very friendly and attentive.

Overall the hotel was well run, and clean. The Staff were friendly to us, and made sure to ask us if we were enjoying ourselves (a nice personal touch). Rooms were decent sized, and everything in the room worked. The bathroom was small, but functional for one person. Parking on the property can be tricky as there are usually more vehicles than rooms and fewer stalls than rooms (at least on weekends). So you may end up having to park on the street. The rooms are not exactly upscale, and bordering on rustic, but they are clean.

“Comfortable and cozy”

Stayed at the Best Western Jasper Inn from January 29-31, 2012. We had a very nice Loft Room (425) with a queen bed, pul out bed, kitchenette and fireplace. The room was clean and very comfortable. Check-inn was quick and easy. Staffs were courteous and helpful. Didn’t use any of the amenities so can’t really say talk about them... The hotel is a very short drive from "downtown" Jasper and maybe 10-15 minutes from Marmot Basin. All in all, I you stay there again if I'm ever in that area…

“Good for the family”

We stayed here while skiing at Marmot. The bedroom plus loft was plenty of room for our family of 6. The full kitchen is an added bonus making the trip much more affordable. The bathroom is a bit small and sound carries to the loft from below but everyone was so tired from a great day on the hill, falling a sleep was not a problem.

“Action”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 30 January 2012

It was 1 A.M. when I went down to the front desk and complained about our noisy neighbours and I asked if they were to be there for the following days. They checked and informed me that they were booked in for several days. I told them about my problem and they told me that they would talk to them , the noise continued for an hour. The next morning , about 9:00 A.M. , as I headed out to go skiing , I mentioned my problem to the morning staff . They told me that they would take care of it. When we returned from skiing , we no longer had neighbours , and slept well for the rest of our stay. I do not know who did what , but we sure had no further problems.
I was impressed as they were booked for a longer stay.

“Satisfied once again.”
4 of 5 stars Reviewed 28 January 2012

Another enjoyble skiing trip for us in Jasper last week (last week in January/12). Stayed in Room 243 (Queen with 3 single loft) again with my wife and two kids (younger). Although we find the queen bedroom and bathroom tight, overall the layout of the loft suite is great for our family. Purchasing a 3 hour log for $4 at the front desk for the fireplace is a great way to wind the evening down with little effort. Free wifi with adequate connection speed. We always enjoy the pool/hot tub/steam room and sauna facilities. Kids didn't really take to breakfast buffett, but it was nicely done and is great for adults. Staff were very friendly and accomodating. We've stayed at a number of the other facilities in Jasper and, at this point, have no reason to go anywhere else!
