We stayed here for 3 nights during our visit to Canada. What a magnificent view. Our room was spaceous and clean.Breakfast was included in our room cost and the early morning panorama from the dining room was simply lovely. The resort was about to close for the winter,so it was very quiet, and we were pleased we were able to stay at all.The resturaunt had a limited menu, which was a pity because we would have eaten there more often. Staff ere friendly and helpful.

This was our second time staying at a Coast Hotels & Resorts property, the first being The Paramount Hotel in Seattle, WA, in August 2010, and now the Coast Pyramid Lake Resort in Jasper, and my wife and I greatly enjoyed it. We looked at other hotels in Jasper, but this resort was the most affordable when compared to hotels located right in the town of Jasper. We booked last minute, but were very pleased to be able to get in on the September Madness special, which included a complimentary room upgrade, 2 breakfast vouchers each morning worth ~$30 total towards a la carte breakfast at the wonderful Pine Restaurant located on site, and a 1 hour boat rental each day to be used on the picturesque Pyramid Lake.

Our Superior Whistler Suite was nice and cozy, and seemed to be recently renovated. It offered a queen bed in the bedroom, a 2 burner cook-top, microwave, bar fridge, flat screen TV (with the movie channels) and a gas burning fireplace.

It's a pity that this property is only open for 6 months of the year! We will definitely be returning!

My wife and I recently discovered the Coast Pyramid lake Resort by chance and managed to get a room for the night. What a wonderful setting, next to the lake, beautiful views and peaceful surroundings just outside of town away from all the hussle and bussel of the town and traffic and railway noise. What a wonderful place to stay or so we thought until we got into bed. The room we had been given ahd the noisiest bed I have ever slept in. it creaked at the slightest movement. Eventually my wife slpet on the sofa in the sitting room so she could get some sleep.The next morning when we were checking out I complained, the receptionist duly made a note and offered her sympathy and a $20.00 discount.
Make sure you check the bed before bed time!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Really liked our three day stay at Coast Pyramid Lake. We had a Superior Whistler Suite (queen bed and pull out sofa). The place had been renovated recently. Nice clean room with full kitchen and while a little small the queen bed was comfy and actually used the pullout sofa one night and slept fine. Do advice the top floor rooms up on the hill away from the restaurant. One nite their was a wedding party at the restaurant and they were load but up on the hill couldn't hear them at all. Also nice to be up a little higher about 10 minutes from Jasper the town.

Tip: get up early and watch Pyramid Mt come alive and step out at night along the lake for star gazing. Coast Restaurant restaurant was great for dinner- had the elk and the artic char both excellent.
