The room is nicely, but oddly laid out. The sitting room is separated from the bed area by a TV unit.
The kitchen is equipped in the sparsest sense, complete with a reasonably sized fridge, microwave, a toaster oven, coffee maker, dishes, glassware, cookware, linens, dish soap, and cutlery.
Unlike other boutique hotels, the bed is not a comfort top mattress, nor is there a down comforter. Only one set of pillows was provided; we couldn't find another set anywhere. The heat was difficult to operate, so we were glad to find a blanket in a drawer.
There are two flat screen TVs. a couch, chairs, a desk, and a kitchen table and 2 chairs.
The INTERNET is complimentary.
The suite is roomy, and it has a balcony, but it is the door to this balcony that alarmed us. First there was a gap between the door and the jam at least a 1/2 inch wide. Winter winds would blow easily throw this opening. And even though the door was dead-bolted, it could easily be opened by an intruder, because when you pulled on the door, the entire thing-- door and jam-- pulled away from the wall.
The hotel is very near conveniences like grocery stores, a small mall, and the town's casino. And it is located just up from MacDonald Island Park and the large Suncor Community Leisure Center.
The staff was fine and parking is handy to the front doors.
